When I arrived at Starbucks, there were 13 people in the room, 5 women –two each with a child, and 8 men. There was no sign of pink at first. The 2 women with their toddler boys in highchairs sat and talked by the window. The two boys were playing with thier trucks on the table, and one was a yellow school bus. 2 women walked in, and both of them were wearing white coats, with one woman wearing a white hat that had a little pink flower sewn in. And then, a couple arrived with their stroller. Frank Sinatra sang through the speakers.

A woman that sat in the corner by the fire was signing one greeting card after another. She wore a black hooded sweater with a green line drawing on the front. From my angle I couldn’t tell if it was a face or a flower. The two mothers were amusing their children, and they were amusing themselves. Both women put on their white coats and got ready to leave for the day. One mother sang a song to her son about going out to visit some pigeons. The man with the grey hat with flaps and black jacket was at peace with himself and his newspaper. He went out for a cigarette.

It was an overcast day. The sky was light grey without texture. It wasn’t that cold. There was a breeze and a degree of humidity that made dampness more penetrating. Shadows absorbed into nothing. Highlights were simply sparing. Monochrome was in fashion. I was in a slight daze, but madly in love with Anna. Trees in love wavered slightly, making minor adjustments, picking up minute air molecule details for better weather reception. I felt guilty about something. I was caught up in my love writing last night and I missed the five minutes sans electricity.

I was somehow afraid that I did not do a good re-reportage on the story about climate change yesterday. I couldn’t keep up with the flow, and I missed a few lines taking notes. This morning it was the top story on the CBC News, where Heather Hiscox wore a brown velvet jacket, and Harry Forestell wore a white shirt with his black jacket and dark tie, with the large dome behind him. Louise Martin wore a dark blue fur textured jacket, almost like ripples of water, with a black turtleneck and a necklace with one ring of silver.

Environmentalist David Suzuki in Halifax spoke on the report on how human activity is making an impact on climate change but in an altogether unpleasant way. He wore what looked like a black leather coat, and Colleen Jones wore one the same, along with a black turtleneck. And of course, today was Groundhogs Day, and Natasha Ramsahai was presiding in Wiarton Ontario. She wore a white suit with white bow tie, a purple came and a grey top hat, whilst holding a black cane with white tips.

And my soulmate, Anna Dirksen, showed me downtown with mostly sky, downtown with soulmates, and then to the green domed building amongst the trees, down by her river of love. My love, Anna showed me the bridges and her river of love, with the orange sky almost brooding, and it was so atmospherically beautiful, that I was swooning for her. Anna showed me the triangle with landform, down by her river of love, with a pale pink tint enveloping. And I was in love. When I returned from my love writing, I watched Living Montreal with Sue Smith, after the CBC News with Suhana Marchand.

I learned about ballet lessons for adults, the latest cocktails that are served, and speed dating along with the Salsa, and the cost and value of silverware. And then to discover exactly wher Geeta is.  In the afternoon, Anna my love showed me construction under the conditions of darkness and light. And my heart was with her all day, for uniting and building with her special numbers and her pictures of love. I dream of a lifelong companionship with my soulmate, as a couple in marriage.

I dream of our love’s harmony, lovemaking in tune with the rainbow of Yin-Yang reconciling. I am moved by her sacred numbers, with such humility. Together I long to be holding hands in a complementary beloved relationship. As bride and groom in the garden, by the rose window serene, in the mandala circle of peace and “We all shine on, like the moon and the stars and the sun” I long to be dancing with Anna, caressing and hugging by the wood burning fire. I long to consolidate a good home for us, with bonding and cooking and organizing. With kissing –blending our true love in the mix. With fusing, and linking and joining with passion, I love my heartthrob and soulmate Anna Dirksen.

Meanwhile, Eddy the dog is depressed and is visited by a dog psychiatrist. The doctor says the dog is physically fine, and so he diagnoses that poor Eddy is picking up bad vibes of someone else in the household feeling down and out. Everyone denies this at first, but they soon admit the truth and reflect on their mortality. Suddenly Eddy is feeling better and back on his paws, after he finds his favorite chew toy –a blonde Barbie doll, and Homer has relocated the family for a new career in a new town. Everything is too good to be true for them all. Homer is given the job as leader over an adept crew, Bart is put in remedial class but not for Grade 4, Marge takes to drink because there is no housework, and Lisa is allergic to everything in the redwood forest. It also turns out that Homer’s boss is secretly running a rogue scheme with nuclear bomb technology, and waging a private war with the USA. So, Homer and the family move back home to get away, while Michael Bluth suggests that his brother Joe read the recent company report “to make you look like a leader”. Joe is only in charge to give that impression. Michael decides to go down to Mexico with his son to investigate his father’s disappearance with the stair truck. He accidentally leaves George Michael’s girlfriend Anne there, and so he must return to Mexico to retrieve her. But his brother Joe has hired a private detective and accuses his brother of fleeing the country. Michael returns home knowing something more about his son’s girlfriend named Anne.
On the CBC News at Six, Michel Godbout wore a grey jacket with a white shirt and a green tie with bands of black and white diagonally The first story was on The Environment. An intergovernmental panel of 2,500 scientists has declared that climate change on the planet is a reality, with sea levels and temperatures on the rise. The scientists explain with sobering enunciation that human activity is the culprit to blame. “It’s a crystal clear signal,” the panel member in Paris explained. And then, Amanda Pfeffer spoke to students about what do to about garbage accumulation, “Human activity is ruining the planet at a faster rate than before…” One young woman, a student, explained, “People are aware but don’t care enough.” And then, drivers of SUVs were asked how they might have an impact on Climate Change. And then, Andrew Chang reported on the new Idling Bylaw in effect. Idling the car for more than 3 minutes is now against the law. But in minus 10 degree weather is an exception, provided that you are in the vehicle. And then to a quick weather check with Geeta Nadkarni, wearing a black coat with a white grey and black knit hat. “Big wet snowflakes,” she said, and movie-like. And of course it was Groundhog Day and it was unanimous, spring comes early. And then on to Huge Boeing Contract, Le Massif Expansion, and Anna Asimakopulos previewed the upcoming Superbowl Sunday with commercials. And then to the first commercial break.
Upon returning, Quebecer Attack in D.R., as reported by Justin Hayward, wearing a black jacket with a dark blue sweater. Machete-wielding thieves near Punta Cana attacked a Quebec man who won 5 million dollars. And then to the Conjugal Violence rate that has dropped by 41%, but may be the result of under-reporting from immigrant women living in fear of their violent husbands, according to the South Asian Women’s Center, and as reported by Leah Hendry, wearing an orange long sleeved top. She spoke to Michel further about Domestic Violence. And then to the second quick break. Upon returning, the weather with Geeta Nadkarni, “The weekend looks good for winter sports.” Michel said, “That’s what a little bird told me.” Tonight, big wet snowflakes and no gloves. Much hope that spring will come early this year. And then on to the special bells from Quebec City that were refurbished in Paris, ready for the 400th Anniversary of Quebec City. And then to the third quick break. Upon returning, Anna Asimakopulos wearing a dark blue jacket, spoke about the advertisements for Superbowl Sunday. Cirque du Soleil and Prince will perform. He wore an orange shirt for the press conference. Anna asked Maurice the producer in the control room, which team would win and he told her The Colts over the Bears, 27 to 21. And then, Michel signed off for the weekend. Please visit www.cbc.ca/montreal for more on these stories.
