Cruising In Contentment
I have had such a comfortable life recently. There has been little aggravation to remind me to convert the energy of aggravation into relaxation, attention and intention. Fortunately, I have been successful in remembering to create sacred spaces around me, using the above named attributes.
Suvy now is wearing a collar and vaccination tag, which relieves the previous worry about her being adopted by another family who might think that she might be a cat in need of a home. Her collar and tag identify her as a cat that belongs to someone. She has grown quite a bit since the last photo session. I should photograph her again and let you see her.
D, although still in the nursing home, is now able to walk short distances with the aid of a walker. I will check on her today and find out what the orthopedic surgeon told her yesterday. When she walks too much, her leg swells in a painful manner. A friend of hers is going to take her to a sunday school party next week. My mom has invited her to a luncheon here on Christmas day. I hope that D feels up to these challenges. I also hope that soon she will be able to move back into her own house and live there with minimal assistance.
Life is good,
I.C.
