In Athens
That’s Athens, Georgia, not Athens, Greece. Today I supervised the completion of the manufacture of the Nobz CD ” Escape From Atlanta” at Weaseltone Studios here. This disc is made of up selections from recordings that I played on in 1979 and 1980; studio and live; new wave, loud and choppy. Imagine if early Metallica played the music of Devo. That’s as close as I can come to describing it. Now, to track down the band members and mail them a copy. But before that, I deserve a night of celebration at the 40 Watt Club.
