Vehicular Homocide
No, I did not commit a vehicular homocide last night; I viewed the movie ” Grindhouse ” by Rodriguez and Tarrantino. This movie is a double feature, with vehicular homocide as the common theme in both movies. The first movie is a melting pot of killing, mutilation, gore, spiced up with intense sexuality and mental illness. Both of these movies are recorded as if they are actual old movie reels from the 1970s, complete with missing reels and lines across the screen. This Rodriguez production is more gorey than the following Tarantino production.
The Tarantino movie stars a rather bloated, unrecognizable looking Kurt Russel who plays the most outrageous role of his career. OK, I apologize for the bloated remark. The Nobz photos on this next CD prove that I myself am bloated and unrecognizable these days. Kurt, you look fine. Kurt plays a Hollywood stunt driver who is shooting a movie in Tennessee. The stunt driver gets a sexual thrill from killing women with automobiles. When the movie begins, you might get the feeling that you are watching the most tedious Tarantino film that you have ever seen, but this slow movingness just accentuates the fast paced action that increases during the second half of the movie.
