Mastering Movies
My mastering session yesterday with mastering engineer Kevin Glenn was a success. I will listen to the recording in about a week to determine if more tweaking is needed.
Two days ago I bought a French to English phrase book at a used book store. It was reviewed at an outdoor cafe right before I saw the French language movie ” Avenue Montaigne.” Both the book and the movie were good practice of my French language skills. Last night I viewed the new Anthony Hopkins movie ” Fracture.” He portrays a devious man who murders his wife and outsmarts the district attorney who is prosecuting him. The character exudes the reserved, frightening subtlety of Hannibal Lecter. It is ironic that the audience was cheering on the murderer everytime he outsmarted the district attorney. I would assume that these same people abhor the murders at Virginia Tech, yet they were cheering on the murderer in this movie. I guess that I should add that I was not cheering on the murderer.
Tonight, Grindhouse !
