More Remastering
In Atlanta for another day of remastering Nobz recordings from 1979 and 1980. Today’s work will begin with adjusting the equalization of the bass guitar frequencies, which are too boomy on a couple of songs. Then, we will edit out nine measures of another song in which my guitar solo is so low in the mix that the song would sound better without it. Then we will turn up the vocal frequencies on another live track to bring out the vocals more. This mastering session is one job for the day that I will not forget about in the middle of the job ! And speaking of beginnings…
This morning I had the luxury of an uninterrupted sitting in my motel room. Since no one was able to hear me, I verbally went through the sitting outloud, as if I were leading a sitting at a seminar. This was a pleasant change from the usual non-verbal sitting.
More later,
