Harsh Times
No, I am not having harsh times tonight; I saw the movie ‘Harsh Times” tonight. This is a bad movie for anyone who knows a psycho, ex-military, gangster who is either in prison or has lived life without a conscience. The acting was so bad at the beginning of this movie that I almost left, but the actors became more comfortable in their roles to pull it off in the end. What a tragic, painful movie…
My visit with the oncologist was upbeat. My white blood cell count is a little higher than the last visit. All of the indicators indicate that I am healthy, except for the hangover from last week’s cold. I bought my mom several Christmas presents today. I took my car into the dealership for a new timing belt with the understanding that I would get a free loaner car as part of the deal. As I was waiting for my presumed demonstator 350 Z to drive around all day, an Enterprise Rent A Car representative drove up and took me to the car rental place and put me through the whole thirty minute car rental process. They gave me a Dodge Neon…It took the dealership until 5 pm to install the timing belt ! Lots of waiting in the waiting room. Despite the tedium, an ok day.
