I’m in Atlanta for a couple of doctors’ appointments over the next couple of days. Tomorrow I see the eye doctor to see if the swelling in my right eye has gotten any worse over the last three months. On Thursday I visit the oncologist and report to him what the opthomalogist says. If the eye doctor ascertains that the swelling has increased, he may recommend an eye surgery and a biopsy. If the biopsy shows lymphoma, then I will need four more Rituxan treatments. A judgement call will need to be made as to whether these procedures can wait until after my vacation in October or not. Whatever the outcome, I can’t complain. I have lasted longer than most people have lasted without a relapse!
