My EEG scan is now complete. What a strange test.
No further news, although the peripheral vision in my left eye is kinda wonky. I imagine I’ll be looking at further tests for that soon.

So, on Thursday morning, I experienced something that I had never experienced before.
A grand mal seizure.
A trip to the hospital and several detailed scans later, and they know a little more about what caused it.
I have a small section in my head that didn’t develop the way it should have. Many could have told them that.
I am ok, I’m on medication which will hopefully stop the possibility of further seizures, and soon, I will be meeting with the neurologist to figure out what needs to occur next.
Back at work today. I’m very sore still, but glad to be back in action.
No driving for me until the meeting with the neurologist. ![]()

We are now at the new host, the old host having been canceled. It was mostly painless, but I’m certain that further bugs are possible and likely.
Please let me know if you have any concerns, questions, or needs!
Best Regards-

Is not all that it is cracked up to be… then again, what is it cracked up to be? Laurie and I had one last night because there was a special on them. It wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t good. I enjoyed it for the toppings, the crust was just out of place.
I suppose that it is supposed to be healthy, but then again it IS pizza, so perhaps that is why it is out of place.

The new job is fantastic so far. It’s all new information, all new learning, and unfortunately, I’m again feeling somewhat out of place, even as I feel right at home and most welcome here.
It’s a good thing, too much comfort can cause other issues, and I prefer to be on my toes as much as possible, so it is a good fit for me to have some level of discomfort.
God gave me a present that I forgot to mention before, in a beautiful sunrise the morning of my first day at the new job:

So I have taken a few photos, but unfortunately, my phone hasn’t been cooperating on the upload to the internet part of the deal.
So in the meantime, here are some photos from the recent Gladiator’s hockey game, when they had the teddy bear toss. All of the stuffed animals went to orphans and kids in foster homes. I saw one little girl with a bag as large as her, struggling to pull it into the arena, I saw her moments before the Gladiator’s first goal, (which is what "tells" everyone to throw their teddy bears onto the ice), and she was beaming, she really couldn’t wait to give them all away. It was quite a sight, and hopefully these photos will give you a small impression of what it was like.

A few days of missed work however, I’d like to thank everyone who sent in their well wishes for me and my quest for a new job. As of Friday last week, I began again, this time, as a full developer! How about them apples!

A few days ago, I was released into a familiar old friend, unemployment.
It was about 5 or 6 years ago since my last period of unemployment, but the time frame is about the same.
That all said, if you know someone in the Atlanta area who might have an interest in a Business Systems Analyst, or Software Analyst, or whatever they may title the little niche I do for a living, I would be overwhelmed with joy to hear from them.
