Requiem For A Train
My favorite train of all time, a little 0-6-0 switcher, the very last one of that model, (L-5 made by Rogers in 1899), which is displayed in Snoqualmie’s beautiful railroad exhibit, (The Northwest Railway Museum).

In 1899 #924 was built as #74 for St. Paul & Duluth, renumerated the #924 for the Northern Pacific railway shortly after. After the bulk of it’s career, #924 was sold to the Inland Empire Paper Company. As I recall it is one of a handful of this model built.
Certainly a love of locomotives truly shows my nerdy tendencies.
