Every month I keep aiming for a turning point, but every month it slips into the future.
This month being no different.
This month has been kind in most regards.
The fish! I haven’t given a progress report for a while. Well, there’s lots of algae now, and I have a good idea as to why the one […]

Hurri… Tropic… Lots of Rain for Florida
August 30th, 2006 · No Comments
Well, it looks like that big storm has fortunately become a little smaller. It’s good to have precautions where these things are concerned due to the unpredictable nature.
Lots of communications to send out today at work due to the precautions taken.

Some Incredible Photos
August 29th, 2006 · No Comments
I’ve seen his site before, but it was nice to be directed there again. Shaun O’Boyle is an wonderful photographer in my opinion, and has some very interesting photos available at his website here:

Old Friends
August 29th, 2006 · No Comments
I was invited out to an old friend’s house last night along with several others. We used to all work in retail together, (except one of us), and have stayed in touch ever since. We played some more Heroscape. One of our friends was just happy to get together, the game being totally secondary. After […]

Spider Love and Soundman Nightmares
August 28th, 2006 · No Comments
So the other night I went to check on our friend the spider who remakes her web each night and there was a larger grey spider edging onto the web. Then I looked across, and saw her hanging in the middle, and yet a third small spider down in the lower right hand.
The third and […]

Tires and a Haircut
August 26th, 2006 · No Comments
Well, financial issues appear like they’ll be sticking around for a while. I had to replace the two front tires on my car. Something I was hoping to wait on for at least after the holidays. One of the tires went nearly flat and I didn’t notice it until we got to work. The tire […]

The Spider
August 25th, 2006 · No Comments
Ok, if you don’t like spiders, I’m sorry, but this one was cool and posed itself quite nicely for me.
Marlin Perkins I’m not, but this looks to be your standard garden variety spider, literally.

Don’t go out that door!
August 25th, 2006 · No Comments
This morning as I let our dog, Annie, out for her morning backyard inspection, I was grateful I did not attempt to walk out of the door. A very large (and beautifully formed) spider web had been created last night, with a reasonably large spider sitting in the center.
After Annie had finished inspecting things, I […]

A few words…
August 24th, 2006 · No Comments
I should probably mention a few things about our dog, since nothing else is coming to mind.
When she goes to the doggie park she loves it a lot, but she spends all of her time either sitting with us or trying to figure out what those other things walking around us are. I really don’t […]

Sleep Is For Slackers
August 23rd, 2006 · No Comments
I’ve learned over the last 10 years that sleep is totally overrated. Last night gave me further proof of that.
I managed to do some small edits to the Blogs script, one to allow more of the functions to be available in the toolbar of the edit window and the other to modify how the latest […]
