Who the heck am I?

Easy question? I’m Peter Dervin and I do a weekly radio program called EXPOSURE at 90.7 KSER in Everett, Washington. As most of you know, the title of my show was influenced by the Robert Fripp album EXPOSURE. This album is one of my all time favorites. Back when it originally came out, there was nothing else that sounded like it. A mix of music and musicians that you’d never thought you’d hear on an album, especially on this album. The idea that an eclectic mix like this was not the norm in 1979. This album really changed how I heard music.

Now more on 90.7 KSER. I’ve been doing my program when the station went on the air, February 9, 1991. KSER is a non-commercial, non-profit, community supported radio staion in Everett, Washington. I am a volunteer and don’t get paid a dime. I do my weekly program as I love to share the music that I enjoy and hopefully, my listeners enjoy too! The idea of EXPOSURE is to expose my listeners to music that they don’t really get to hear anywhere else. So even though the title of the show is in reference to Robert Fripp, it’s not just a RF or King Crimson show, but a mix of anything, progressive rock, ambient sounds, americana alt country, main stream artists that get no air play…you get the idea.

Anyway, thanks for taking the time to read my blog here at Krimson News and thanks to Jeff Duke for setting this thing up. It’s just amazing how we can all share our ideas in this forum. Peace.
